Ordering

What payment methods does Amour Vert accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club debit and credit cards, both online and in our retail shops.

Shipping

When will my order ship out?

Depending on the availability of the item, your order will ship out no later than 48 hours from your purchase date. If anything were to change, we will contact you. Orders placed after 12 pm on Friday will be processed the following Monday morning, major Holidays excluded.
Expedited orders will be processed and shipped out same day when placed by 12 pm PST.
Unfortunately, at this time we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or A. P. O. Boxes.

 

Where does your clothing ship from?

All orders ship from our warehouse and stores in beautiful California.

 

How long does it take my order to arrive? Can it be expedited?

All domestic orders ship absolutely free via UPS Ground and take 5-9 business days to arrive unless otherwise stated. At checkout, you can choose UPS 2-Day expedited shipping for $20 or UPS Next Day for $40, excluding weekends.

Does Amour Vert ship internationally?

We ship internationally to Canada. International shipping is a flat rate of $20.

Please note that you are responsible for the customs & duties incurred.

Please visit our International Orders help page for more information on international orders and returns. Breakable items, like candles and ceramics, are unable to be shipped internationally at this time. 

Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy

Special Holiday Returns - Holiday orders placed after November 6th, will be eligible for return until January 10th. 

If for any reason, you are not 100% happy with your Amour Vert items, we will gladly accept returns that meet four simple conditions. Any returns that do not meet any of our four return requirements will be shipped back to you.

1. Merchandise must be of unworn and unwashed with the tags still attached.
2. Return must be shipped to us within 30 days of purchase, unless covered by our Special Holiday Returns policy.
3. All returns must be made through our returns process below. Our systems cannot accept and process returns made from outside shipping methods.
4. All marked-down sale items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. (This does not include full-priced items purchased with a promo code)

Return amount will be credited back to the original form of payment.

A $7 return shipping and processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that refunds may take 1-4 business days for refunds to post to your account.

How to Return an Item

In Store

You can return your purchase to any of our retail locations. We do not deduct the $7 shipping and processing fee for returns completed in store.

By Mail

To return by mail, head to: http://www.amourvert.com/returns and enter the email address you used to place your order to begin the return or exchange process.

If you are shipping from an APO, please use an alternate ship from address for your return as UPS does not recognize APO addresses.

Please note that our warehouse systems cannot process returns that are not completed through our returns portal at amourvert.com/returns. If you do not use our process, your item will be shipped back to you.

Exchanges

We now offer exchanges! You can now exchange an item for a different size.Unfortunately we cannot offer exchanges for a different color or item at this time. Exchanges will be waived the $7 shipping fee.

Head to: http://www.amourvert.com/returns and enter the email address you used to place your order to begin the return or exchange process.

Choose the reason you would like to exchange the item (too small, too big, etc).

Choose the size you wish to exchange it for. We will automatically place a new order (free of charge) for the new size, and issue you a return label for the size that did not work out. Just mail it back!

Please note that we need to receive the original item back in new, unwashed condition with tags attached (in accordance with our Returns policy), and within 30 days of purchase. If we do not receive the original item, you will be charged for the item you exchanged for.

What size should I get?

Sizing varies from brand to brand.  Check out our Women's Sizing Guide to find out what size in Amour Vert works best for you.

 

Where can I try things on?

We have a San Francisco brick and mortar in the trendy Hayes Valley district that you can stop by if you're in the area!

 

What are the care instructions for my new garments?

We design all of our clothes with cleaning in mind, therefore all of our T-Shirts can be machine washed on cold and tumbled dry.  Other pieces can all be hand washed and air dried.

How do I request a catalog?

We're thrilled you'd like to receive our catalog! Simply fill out this form, and we will add you to our mailing list.

 

How can I opt out of receiving your catalog?

We're sorry to see you go! If you no longer wish to receive our catalog, please fill out this form.

Please note that you might get one or two additional catalogs after unsubscribing as it takes time for your request to take effect!

How do I stay up to date?

Become a Member and sign up to our newsletter; don't worry, we won't bombard you with constant e-mails.

 

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, you can buy gift cards here.

Gift Cards are online only and available only in the US. They never expire or have any additional processing fees.

They are delivered via email and you can enter your unique code during checkout. If you don't spend all the amount in one order, the remainder can be used on your next order. You can also use it towards tax and shipping.

Unfortunately, gift cards are excluded for promotions and discounts. 

They are not redeemable for cash except when required by law. 

Where is your clothing made?

All of our amazing designs are created out of our offices in San Francisco and almost all of our manufacturing is done in factories within a 20 mile radius of us.  

Currently all of our products are made in the US, except our sweaters. Our sweaters are 3D knit, and there are only a few machines in the world that can produce them exactly how we want to. As a result, we decided to make our sweaters in China at a factory that we carefully selected because it aligns with our ethical values and meets our sustainability standards. We have a personal relationship with them.

What does being Sustainable mean to Amour Vert?

Sustainable to us means simply being smart about the decisions made in our design and manufacturing process.  We strive to have the lowest impact on our environment and other people we possibly can.

 

Amour Vert means 'Green Love' in French...but why a French name?

Our founder and designer, Linda Balti, is Parisian.  She moved stateside in 2009 and began creating Amour Vert when she saw a real need in the marketplace for fashionable, reasonably priced, eco-conscious clothing.
